Ecosystem for GovTech
GovTech Sweden gather, develop and support the ecosystem for GovTech in Sweden and acts as a platform for ideas and innovations that benefit society.
Together, we take on the challenge of how and in what way we should co-create in order to secure and increase the public value of the digital transformation.
In the ecosystem, main actors such as users and value creators in the public and private sectors, facilitators who supports co-creation and provides competence, and a support system that provides financing and rules of the eco system, work together. Our common compass is trust, creativity, transparency, participation and efficiency.
What is GovTech?
GovTech means new smart welfare services and products for employees and citizens that are co-created by innovative companies and the public sector.
GovTech strives to make the public sector more innovative and development-oriented by using new and emerging digital technology. The aim is to make the use of tax funds more efficient and increase the quality of life for all citizens.
In order to accelerate the pace of innovation and increase the public value of the digital transformation, it is therefore necessary to create closer collaboration between innovative companies and the public sector.

At present, GovTech Sweden is coordinated by Bron Innovation - a Swedish regional ICT cluster and Digital Innovation Hub located in Sundsvall, Västernorrland. We want to collaborate with other main actors in Sweden, Europe and globally.
